Two weeks (or is it three?) gone just like that (this is me snapping and waving fingers) since my last post. But what a really good two weeks they were. I’ve taken some photos, I have sold some photos, and best of all I have been inspired to keep on doing what I’m doing. The anxiety leading up to the the arts fests quickly vanished once I was there and in the moment… talking photography with photographers and just those who appreciate photography and art, visiting with old friends I haven’t seen in a while, and just hanging out for two whole days… no housework & no cooking for an entire weekend ~ Bonus! Don’t get me wrong, they are long days with a lot of work involved, from just getting myself organized weeks ahead to the manual labor of setting up and breaking down… and as seems to be the case, more times than not, the weather can be a bit uncooperative as well. Will I do it again next year? You bet, because there is nothing quite like seeing your work (and others) in print and on exhibit for others to enjoy… or ponder… and be inspired!
And now, like Barbie, I’m looking forward to sitting back and enjoying some sweater weather, because time flies and before we know it, it will the “most wonderful time of the year”… or so the song goes.
Until next time,
